What to Expect

Eligibility: All individuals living within the Moravia School District boundaries are eligible for services. The amount of food you are eligible for is based on the number of people in your household. No certification is required for eligibility but an ID is helpful for registering.

Arrival: When you arrive, a volunteer will give you a number. When your number is called, you will self certify. No proof is required.

The first time you register, you will be asked for names, birthdates or ages of all people in the household, your physical address & phone number. Questions will be asked about WIC (women, infants, and children), Medicaid, SNAP, and military service, etc. This process takes a few minutes the first visit.

After the first visit, this step will take just a minute.

Shopping: Once your number is called, you will be assigned a personal shopper that will help you walk through the aisles. The shopper will help you bag your items, keep track of number of items, and point out options that are available.

In addition to food, there are personal items (i.e. toothpaste, shampoo) and pet food that is often available.

Loading: Once you are finished shopping, volunteers are available to help load bags and boxes into vehicles.
